Locking/Unlocking the car

With a smartphone

Unlock: You use the TrydaNi app to unlock the car door. Once you have started your booking you tap/click ‘unlock’ to unlock the car.

Lock: Ensure all the doors are shut properly, and the engine is off. You then tap/click the red 'lock' button on the app or take the physical key with you and the car will lock automatically.

With an RFID card 

Unlock: You tap the Vehicle Access Card on the card reader on the passenger side of the car.

Lock: Ensure all the doors are shut properly, and the engine is off. Tap the Vehicle Access Card on the card reader on the passenger side of the car.

You can check the status of the doors by turning the engine on and seeing if there are any warning lights on the dashboard. If this doesn’t work, please call the 0300 373 5500
