The car is late

As a community-owned car club, we run on good faith and shared responsibility. For the club to work well, all members need to return vehicles punctually so that everyone can rely on the service.

If you know you’re running late, it’s free and easy to extend your booking in the App. This avoids stress for other members and keeps the club running smoothly.

If you don’t amend your booking and return the car late, the App will automatically add the extra time to your Account at 50% above the standard hourly rate (for example, an un-booked extra hour will cost £3 rather than the usual £2).

If you are delayed by something beyond your control—such as poor road conditions, accident, breakdown, or serious illness—please contact us as soon as possible on 0300 373 5500 (ideally before the end of your booking). This allows us to let any affected members know.
