Battery is low when I start my booking
Our technology platform allows us to remotely monitor battery levels and so i’s very unlikely that a vehicle will have lower than 50% battery when your booking starts and we will always try and warn you when this is the case.
In rare cases (particularly if you make a last-minute booking), this may not be possible and you may need to use a public charger to complete your journey. This will depend on the exact battery level, the range of vehicle you are hiring and how far you need to travel.
If the vehicle battery has a range of less than 100 miles when you collect it, TrydaNi will credit your account to compensate you for the cost of public charging (this is to reimburse for the per mile fee that is applied to bookings for the first 100 miles). If you have used a vehicle with a low starting charge and we have not contacted you already, please contact us.
