Community Champion
Community Champions
TrydaNi is a non-profit Community Benefit Society, and we encourage our members to help run and grow their local club. Members who wish to assist with running their club in exchange for driving credits can become a TrydaNi “Community Champion”help with the following tasks:
- Cleaning the car (monthly)
- Performing safety checks (monthly)
- Running familiarisation sessions for new Members (as needed)
- Taking the car to the garage to be serviced or repaired
To be eligible to become a Community Champion, members must:
- Have been a member for at least a month
- Have completed three successful bookings/journeys
- Be a member of the local club’s WhatsApp group
- Submit a sample online monthly check form
- Successfully pass a short test about how the club (including charging) works
Each of the above tasks is expected to take up to an hour to complete and earns the Community Champion up to £25 in driving credits (plus any out-of-pocket expenses such as cleaning materials, up to a total of £15). For tasks which require driving the vehicle (e.g. taking it to a garage), we will credit your account with the required additional credits to complete the journey.
Up to three Community Champions are appointed for each club and we use an online form to track which tasks have been completed and when (the full process will be explained when you apply).
To put yourself forward as a Community Champion for your local club (or if you have any questions about how it works), please contact us at support@trydani.org.
