DVLA checks

We require an annual DVLA check code from our members for us to ensure they continue to meet our insurer’s criteria to receive cover to drive our cars. You will be asked to provide a DVLA check code when you first join and when we contact you annually. 

A DVLA check code is a temporary, unique code that allows you to share your driving licence information with a third party, such as a car hire company or employer, without them having direct access to your full driving record. This code, which is valid for 21 days, provides access to details like the types of vehicles you can drive, any penalty points or disqualifications, and the validity of your license.
