Hyundai Kona

(75 kWh / 300 miles)

When you arrive, the car will be parked ready for your usage. Locate the physical car key inside the central compartment.

Take this key with you during your booking. This is to ensure that you can still access the car and drive it, even if your phone battery dies or you lose signal.

Return the physical car key back to the central compartment at the end of your booking.

Starting the car:

Start the vehicle with your right foot on the brake, press start/stop.

Select D for drive or R for reverse on the button panel in the centre depending on how you are leaving the home base. (Camera shows up on central dash screen when reversing)

To move, put your right foot on the accelerator. The handbrake will automatically release. Later, when you have finished parking, switch off the car by putting your foot on the brake and pressing P for park, pull up the handbrake then press start/stop button.

You will need to charge the car back up to 80% within your booking to leave the car ready for the next user. There is a BP Pulse Rapid charger in the Metropole car park.

On the screen it will ask if you are a member or a Guest - Select Member, and follow the instructions on screen. It will guide you through the process and when to tap the BP Pulse Card. Ensure the car is charging before you end your booking.

Checking the car is charging:

- The BP Pulse machine will inform you if there is a problem.

- You can also check the screen by the speedometer and you will see three figures:

1) Remaining time to 100% battery

2) a percentage battery icon

3) the kW power it is charging at

- Sometimes you can hear a high-pitched whine.

Charging the car while away from the Homezone:

The Homezone is the red area that you can see on the App, that surrounds the car. This is the only place you can start or end your bookings.

The Hyundai Kona only charges using: AC Type 2, or CCS charge points.

The maximum charge the car can accept is: 7kWh on AC, and 75kWh on CCS.

If the charger is not working at The Metropole, there is a Swarco charger in the High Street Car Park.

Use the Evolt swipe card in the car to pay for the charging
